How to Create a Mail Merge Link in Binder

Follow these steps to create a Mail Merge Link and seamlessly integrate it to your mail tool.

Important: If Track Forwarding is enabled, recipients not listed in your marketing automation tool will need to input their email address to access the shared content.

1. Access the Mail Merge Link Option

• On the document page, click on the “Create Link” button and select Mail Merge Link from the features menu, it will be at the end.

2. Enter Required Information

• Fill in the necessary fields:

Email Service: Select your marketing automation tool. This will automatically populate the appropriate merge tag.

3. Customize Optional Settings

• Configure additional options based on your needs:

Track Forwarding: Enable to capture emails of forwarded recipients.

Allow Downloading: Permit recipients to download the content.

Expiration Date: Set a time limit for access.

Passcode: Add an extra layer of security.

4. Generate and Copy the Link

• Click Create New Link to finalize and generate a shareable link.

• Copy the link and embed it into the text of your campaign, sequence, or template within your marketing automation tool.

Creating a Mail Merge Link with Other Tools

For marketing automation services not prelisted, follow these steps:

1. Select “Other” in the tool selection menu within Binder under Mail Merge Option.

2. Input the recipient merge tag provided by your specific automation service.

3. Configure your link by following the remaining steps to finalize the Mail Merge link.
