Binder’s Data Rooms, provide an efficient way to organize, manage, and share large volumes of content through a single link. Now, you can enhance collaboration by inviting teams or groups directly.

Groups simplify access management, ensuring that only authorized members can view or contribute to the documents within the Data Rooms, maintaining robust security throughout.

Creating Data Room Groups

Binder’s Data Rooms offer two flexible sharing methods for managing large volumes of content. You can create groups with pre-approved members or generate secure links to your data room with the existing group.

Groups enhance security by restricting access to only approved users, who must authenticate their access via email. This ensures that only those on the member list can engage with the content. Links also offer a secure alternative, supporting allow lists and email authentication to control access while maintaining simplicity for users.

How to set up a group:

1. Log in to your Binder.so account using your email or Google account.

2. On the top navigation menu, click on 'Rooms.'

3. In the top right corner, click on '+Create Data Room.'

4. A prompt will appear. Name your Data Room as desired, then click 'Add New Data Room.'

5. Your Data Room is now created! You can start uploading files immediately.

6. Just click on 'Create New Link' and here you can create your group and name it as you like

Choose a Group:

- In the drop-down menu at the top, type the name of your new group.

4. Create Group:

- Once you've named it, click "Create new group."

5. You're Done!

- Your group is ready! Now you can use it to share files easily.
